i finally went to mcD! its like a dream come true. lol. well all this while i wanted to go mcD at night but i was too full to go and i thought it closes at 10, so i took time to go for sungkai at mcD yesterday. it was amazing! hahahah. and i just found out that it closes at 12am everyday during Ramadhan, except for saturdays at which it closes at 1=DD i am so going to mcD one of these nights. ikut?

sungkai buffet shall not be an option for me. its not cz i eat too much, its that i dont eat a lot anymore=/ since puasa started i havent been eating shitloads and so decided not to go out for sungkai buffet as it will be a waste if i dont eat like a pig. but nevertheless we gave it a go just now at ilotus. the food was amazing and there were loads of varieties u wont get bored of it. and guess what, i only had one plate of main course and a couple of starters=/ rugi!!!! omg! i didnt even get a go at the hotpot. mahal saja bayar but makan sikit brabis. prolly its cz ive been fasting in boarding school for the past 2years and yeah the sungkai and sahur sikit. no shit rugi buffet, next time i shall just go for the ala carte option. craving for coffee zone's buttermilk chicken=)

so this morning i went to the immigration department to change my machine-readable passport to a biometric one. i never like going to the immigration. but this time it was a pleasant one. went up to the counter straight without having to wait in queues and whatnot. wasnt too much hassle and most surprising of all, they were efficient. told them to finish my passport within a working day. they said tunggu saja sms sudah ready for collection. so i drove back from the immigration and when i nearly reached home, a text came in saying my passport was ready for collection. i was swearin like hell forgetting the fact that i should swear less during puasa cz they couldve told me it could be done in half an hour and i couldve just waited for it. oh well. kudos to the department for being efficient.

i dont think i should drive during puasa cz it really is testing my patience.

Airmouse. turns your ipod touch or iphone into a wireless mouse. saves me the trouble of getting out of bed and playing the next episode of big bang theory over and over again. with this i could just literally stay put and control the cursor on my mac with my ipod touch while my mac is connected to the tv. u can use the ipod as a trackpad or use the accelerometer(motion sensor) to drive your cursor across the screen. it even has a keyboard so u can type with it. pretty nifty.

not to mention ive just updated my ipod to a 3.0, for free that is haha annen jailbroken my ipod, devirginised! haha. but its pretty cool cz now i can download free applications from torrents and install em in my ipod for free without having to rely on the itunes store anymore=) if only i had an iphone, cz ive got this free application(costs £60 on itunes) which turns your iphone into a satelitte navigation system. neat! sadly does not work with ipod touches. i might just consider the ipone 3G S into my list. all this while i didnt think the iphone was worthwhile, but since ive got this insight to such cools apps, i might just get one. plus i think i need a new phone. THINK. cz i spilled chendol on the flip phone so the speaker is now broken. and my current phone, it sometimes suffers epileptic fits. so a new phone could come in handy. or not.

oh my i havent visited this page in a while*shrugs*. been pretty occupied this summer that i didnt even bother to blog. but now since its the fasting month, ive been transformed into a unicellular amoeba just sittin at home doin nothin waiting to undergo mitosis. no kiddin even my car still has plentiful fuel left since i dont go out anymore. so ive decided to take some time and blog rather than me just waiting endlessly for my body to split into two.

as i mentioned i have done nothing productive since puasa came. the last productive thing i did was hiking the new track at shahbandar on friday the day before puasa. cant believe we went in the rain, it was all slippery but it was good fun. and we only took two hours kali saja this time to complete it. and i think thats the last time i'll hike that route, until next summer. and since then all i do is lay in bed and watch big bang theory. finished season 2 and i want more haha siuk. ooooh i wonder what else is goin on. antah nada bye

moving on. on top of the usual squash badminton tennis, been hiking a lot lately. first time embarking on bukit karamunting from tasek, was an equivalent to bukit 15 in shahbandar, a 2hour20min hike. pretty dangerous and steep yet awesome. also me and mom just knew bout this other track at tasek which runs near the dam, an quivalent to 9 at shahbandar bout an hour's hike. been doing this quite often lately its quite challenging.

there was the blue banana bash(BBB) last week haha.

a lot of loiterring around and eating crap. my rate of weight gain since i came back is 1kg/week. (Y) =p

our 3rd annual empire weekend getaway=) decided to stay in the lagoon wing this time as we've always stayed at the atrium. it was fun. camwhoring around in the middle of the night. catching a late night movie THE PROPOSAL which was pretty awesome as i just cant get enough of chick flicks. seafood barbeque dinner at pantai restaurant as i cant remember the last time i went here and the food was great as usual with fresh oysters scallops crabs prawn and girlled lamb chicken squid it was excellent except that the salmon was missing and they didnt have ice cream which was a huge disappointment and also an effin small bottle of sehat costs like $4.40 there but other than that it was exquisite. breakfast at atrium with pancakes and omelettes and nasi lemak and awesome empire corned beef, have always loved empire's corned beef. swimming here and there and i got darker. didnt get to spend time at the country club but ah wells. we kinda slept a lot hahah. bug incident at 4am.

this picture was taken at midnight and so it was all dark and there wasnt much light. but by increasing exposure time or slowing shutter speed, the natural colours of the picture appear even without using a flash in the dark. (Y) the advantage of using long exposures is that natural colours appear even in the dark whereas when you use a flash, the light is artificial. and actually what we saw with the naked eye during this time was even darker than this picture, way darker. *sakai*

now compare the following pictures:

the first one shows how a normal picture would look like using a flash. it also shows how dark it was during this photoshoot.

the second and third one was using a 2.5seconds exposure time and an aperture size of F5. the natural colours show up and no artifical light needed. pretty nifty.

and thats not all. there are loads of other cool stuff this big ass camera is capable of. i feel like getting a dslr now that ive learnt some basics after tutoring myself on youtube for 45mins haha.

had buttermilk chicken at tt blues just now (btw tt blues siuk cz everything 50% off lol) annen dinner mom suruh masak buttermilk chicken for some reason so we did though i think this time inda cukup butter or too much susu or something but it was still good. annen for dessert mom asked us to make oreo cheesecake cz she wanted to try out this other cream cheese to see whether it worked and whether it tasted as good. sighh i wanted to keep myself away from oreo cheesecake for at least a week haha or two sal overload ah last week haha. turns out this time it was too liquid to set. dont know whether it was the cheese or maybe i added too much water haha.
but but the point is too much fats. not that aku takut aku lampuh, aku takut coronary heart disease! cz cam fats fats fats. but nyaman! i dont think i can lay off buttermilk chicken ever! better to die eating good food then to live not enjoying good food right? lol

did bukit 9 just now. wat was 1h10mins on friday was 53mins just now, and we did a little extra compared to friday=) back in the game baby!

so i had my first driving lesson today. well yeah i know i drive already but i dont do manuals, tried a few times like dulu brabis annen no more manual cars to try on. so just now was kinda a first drivin a manual. it was awesome! hahaha siuk driving manuals although tiring and slow haha. i had to drive the L car back home at speeds not exceeding 60kmh gawd! lol but the bukit and all was fun. after parking a couple of times, he asked me to drive to the jpd bukit and asked me to practise the bukit. did it 4 times and all went well=D aku excited cz he said i could've taken the test tomorrow if it wasnt for the theory results not being released yet. annoying! batah! mcq jua ganya atu pun batah kan release! gawd! i hope it'll be out soon so i can take the driving test immediately.

amsterdam where all forms of transportation were major. trams cars buses use the same road. so if there were no trams on the tram line, then cars would be driving on it. and the tram lines are close to pedestrians pathway so its quite dangerous. and also the cyclist lane is on the pedestrian pathway so if you're on their lane, they will just langgar u. lol ish lah durang bitch sikit and sometimes saja durang horn. and the females there hotsssss. banyak hotttiess yoo. oh and im surprised how environmental friendly amsterdam is. most of them use bikes rather than cars. i saw a lot of solar panels from the plane. also they're got loads of wind turbines to generate electricity. and the kadai Albert Heijn suruh recycle our bottle water for 25cents each.

didnt do much touring around cz most of the attractions were museums(rijksmuseum, van gogh museum, anne frank house). went to rijksmuseum and it was a rip off so we didnt go to the other museums. anne frank house slalu panjang queue so we just took a peek from outside. apa lagi tourist shit ah. windmills? we managed to find one haha. annen the canal thing, haha kami cool we didnt go on a canal cruise like other tourist would but instead we went on a canal bike which was wayy worth it. cycled on water from rijksmuseum to anne frank house. it was an hour's ride and siuk! as zaki said, kalah jerudong park punya! hahaha. flower market, kami bangang payah cari and turns out ampir our place. went to dam square and the royal palace and of course the red light district haha. other than that cam nada kan d liat d amsterdam. no eiffel tower or sagrada familia or nou camp or parc guel or shit. but shit it was an awesome holiday! ;) and it was just us guys so we could laze around and waste time without getting told off by girls hahahaha=p

i am back bitches=)2-3months of holidays ahead of me. such a bliss. its half past 3 in the morning and im wide awake, i dont like this. let me see what i did.

arrived at the airport, stopped by at land transport dept before even reaching home to get my provisional license. wahayyy aku ada license! provisional at least lol! annen went back home to sleep for a bit. actually id prefer just a one off straight long deep sleep wah so that aku inda jetlag next day, but unfortunately my dad had to force me out of bed to like sign some shit in the afternoon. disturbed sleep=not good=jetlag. ohhh and this afternoon i also went to the driving school to arrange my theory classes and shit. starts tomorrow hahaha! i might be too tired to attend classes but watevs i want to drive legally ASAP. and the theory exam is next week.

ohhh! baie orang yang aku apply provisional license suruh aku gunting rambut! what the fuck man. its only an effin driving exam or some sort and i cant have long hair? what it disrupts my driving skills or something? girls have long hair and they can drive! apakan sasak ku. ia tulis lagi tu the word "rambut" arah my form and underlined it a few times. urrrrghhh i hate it when people mess with my hair.

started off with us two chilling in hyde park cz we couldnt be bothered to revise so we got waffles and enjoyed the awesome weather. no shit dude. like before half term it was cold and shitnot and sudah halfterm started, it got warmer and sunnier like brabis awesome. loving the weather these days. for instance. today's weather, no traces of clouds from yesterday afternoon until now. its just been sunny throughout. its amazing. downside, payah tidur cz panas and no aircond here hahaha.

annen there were those days where kami main basketball and main ultimate frisbee d hyde park *seriously awesome weather* hahahah. also went to leicester to arrange next year's accommodation. renting a house there cz i cant be bothered to stay in uni halls cz ive had enough of boarding life thank you. plus i'll be sharing with awesome people like mal and mimi next year and neighbouring with imi and azka, so why bother staying in halls. and its a lot cheaper than staying in halls, more shopping baby!! =D

watched a lot of movies including star trek, it was fab! seriously. was doubtful bout watching it but everybody seemed to like it so liat lah and awesome baby. wat else did i do ah. ohhh went to view zati's accommodation juga d bayswater. man no shit this location. how central can you get living in london? haha. pretty awesomely located lah her place but not so awesome insides and expensive much but what to do ah zat haha.

sunday in birmingham after shopping in bicester. the weather was fanstastic! seriously great weahter. like brabis great. breathtaking, mind blowing, stunning, staggering apa lagi ko mau.

that night me and charles were bored in bham so we decided to go out and shit. couldnt find a club that was suitable(aka inda ramai itam or kaling, inda private) and couldnt even find a shisha bar so we ended up just getting a drink boreng unproductive night.

happiness radiates shrewsbury as the sun finally unveils after a long week of gloominess. though aku tidur tadi patang for like effin 2hours plus cz nothing to do and no internet damn i might neeed some alcohol to get me in bed tonight. jokes.

well the last time i went back during the summer, i did feel a bit of leeway in terms of driving and going out and stuff, but at times i still had to tell mom where i went and bila jalan and blah and when i didnt tell her she would call up and marah(walaupun kan ke kadai ampir bali crepe).
but now, i dont even have to tell her where or when i wanna go out, macam just go anytime u want kinda thing and dont have to tell her haha siuk! and masa summer she didnt, or forgot to gave me the keys to the house just in case balik aher(ohh and if balik aher like 1ish ada tia call sudah) but now ia suruh aku jalan and gave me the keys to the house without me asking haha just in case ku balik aher=) freedom! i love my mom=) cool ah ia lapas aku. think cz she's properly single now and enjoying her life and keeping fit and watever.

omg! aku intimidated sal masa summer i went hill climbing with her quite often; shahbandar and tasek. since i went back ia naik bukit saja and now she's like a bukit enthusiast. all this while i thought shahbandar only has 9 hills, but since i left, ada tracks to new hills(so called bukit 15) and she's been climbing that ever since. bukit 9 takes about an hour or so masa summer but my mom cakap bukit 15 is like 2hours plus=/ and she climbs it nearly everyday. annen d tasek pun apparently ada new longer track which she also does. jealous ku. i need to start bukitting again.

our second FOB concert. it was friggin awesome! or as chern put it, LEGENDARY! hahaha. it was better than the last one we went to cz the last one, our seats were shit and it was a friggin rock concert for god's sake(standin tickets abis last time) so it aint no fun if u aint standin in the crowd. so this time we did. although u wouldnt get the comfort of a seat if u stand in a concert, despite all the pushing around and all the sweat and the dehydration and the stuffiness of the air and probably even vomit on the floor and and the brutal mosh pit right infront of us, it was worth it! this time we got to jump and fuck about and enjoyed the concert as how a rock concert should be enjoyed haha. FOB!!

didnt actually think it would be that good cz their latest album sucks. but good thing they only played a few from Folie A Deux which were the good songs, the rest of em were the all time favourites plus a remake of American boy(girl) haha.

so i went to soton yesterday for an interview,8hours of travelling just for a 20minute interview=_=' my second and last interview. no more interviews from now on im glad. but i hope i get soton. though kalau ku inda dapat, ive got my leicester as a back up pulang. but soton was awesome.

before this ive been setting my eyes on leicester saja cz leicester muslim friendly aka nando's and tinseltown nya halal and lots more haha and soton inda as much. but then antah yesterday i kinda liked soton. and i know its not my first time in soton, been there loads of times and i know how awesome it is but yesterday lagi ku ke awesome an. idk. prolly cz i like the med course there compared to leicester. and the buildings in soton are bigger, and more modern. and vibrant. and its on the coast. and ada ikea(not that i shop for furnitures but ikea punya poached salmon nyaman =)) and leicester buruk med building nya and campus nya. soton lagi lawa. (i think) haha. although the halls in soton are pretty shit, unless u get the new halls. and leicester halls are quite awesome and cheap.

so idk whether i'll go for soton(if i get the offer) or leicester. but i do hope i get the offer. cz soton awesome. ohhh! and i was walking around kan in west quay with my new found friends haha and ada hollister kan buka d sana! so its quite cool i guess. annen shopping in soton is not bad lah. i was walking around and looking at handbags kan and ku bawa durang masuk kadai bag(antah i dont know why but i just love looking at handbags even though i dont use one), then the swedish girl said i'd totally fit in with swedish girls haha. i said to myself, bring on the swedes! lol okay random anyway. so yes shopping in soton is not bad. annen ada gunwharf quay(desinger outlet) like 20-30mins away in portsmouth. but then leicester is closer to birmingham and birmingham ada emporio armani. so still payah choose.

bout the new peepsies i met. one of em was a somalian guy and the other was a swede girl. the guy was alright pulang but then ia lambat cakap sikit and ngaleh pulang becerita sikit. the swede was cute haha wouldnt say she's hot but she's alright. and ia slalu senyum aku suka and ia american accent. sorry aku slalu melting wah american accent. cz for me here its british accent everyday in school, on tv wherever. so when i hear american accent aku melt sal lawa. and as usual asal interview with these international people, they get impressed how we get to pick up the biritish accent here. the swede got carried away asking me why i was being interviewed, and i was like im from brunei. and she was like ohh right, i thought cz of ur accent ur a home student. anyway. siukk sama ia! haha my first swede friend. i remember my german friend cakap the hottest people are danish, norwegian and swedes. so ive been dying to meet these people. haha. swedes are awesome! if she gets soton then im totally going soton! hahahaha. and sexy kalau ya cakap swedish. aku jealous ya pulang sal ukcat nya like tinggi ada this one section ya dapat 800+ and that ia ada unconditional offer from kings. i actually really wanted kings but then i got rejected before i even got an interview. so wat the heck, asal dapat offer for med somewhere jadi tah cz its effin competitive these days.

annen the somalian guy was totally alim. he's a muslim btw. and ia sembahyang on the train back, cz we went back on the same train. first time ku liat orang sembahyang on the train. annen ia lecture aku pasal islam, see how alim he is. annen namanya yasin and i was like my name mubin like the one in surah yasin. annen we started reciting bits of the surah yasin where ada mubin haha that was a first. ohh! and ia itam kan. skali masa kami jalan in town, we were talkin about halal stuff in soton. suddenly he approached orang itam ani tarus tarus, and i was like shit wat is he doing. takut ku pulang. rupanya he wanted to ask bout halal stuff around so he approached this random itam person who turned out to be a somalian as well. aku impressed how he can tell ia dari negara sama and that ia muslim jua. annen the 4hours train ride back wasnt as bad cz ia becerita non stop from soton to birmingham where he got off haha and from birmingham onwards aku liat heroes on my ipod.
